Cooling off in the solar-power fountain

Dawson White and his new friend cool off in the solar powered fountain.

The fountain has a 12-volt bilge pump that is driven directly off of the 80-watt solar PV module. The simple fountain is a great demonstration of solar energy. The fountain instantly stops flowing when someone shades the module.

More 2006 photos will be added soon. Keep checking back.
