Solar Drag Race Makes History!
A new world record in solar drag racing was set in the summer of 2007 by South Whidbey High School
of Whidbey Island, Washington. Seattle's King 5 TV produced an Evening Magazine episode that
documented Whidbey's winning effort from preliminary design to the checkered flag in Wenatchee.
